The Eastern Premier Soccer League are excited to announce that Vidas United FC will join the league and compete in the Delaware River Conference at the start of the 2022-23 season. Vidas United will become the latest EPSL club to be based out of Philadelphia Metropolitan area, further solidifying their footprint and strengthening the league’s connection with their new feeder league partner CASA. The Delaware River Conference intends to expand their number of clubs up to 12, in accordance with the long term goals of every conference in the EPSL.

Vidas United FC was founded in 2015 by a group of players from Drexel University, and since then has expanded to 4 teams playing in CASA & EPSL. Vidas retains a strong Drexel presence, recruiting players from the university every year, but prides itself on being a complete club, where players have opportunities to train and perform year-round, as well as host social events. In 2021, Real Vidas became the first Vidas team to win the coveted CASA Kelly Cup, defeating FC Misconduct in Subaru Park, the local professional soccer stadium in Chester, PA, home of the Philadelphia Union of MLS. Last month, Vidas United FC's second division club (Vidas United) gained promotion to the top tier of CASA, and their fourth division club (Vidas FC) won the Contenders Cup trophy.

“Vidas United FC (Inter Vidas) is excited to be part of the growth of the EPSL Delaware River Conference. Like the EPSL, we also believe in a merit-based promotion / relegation system and are looking forward to competing this upcoming fall.” said club president Nolan Blair.

Look out for the league schedule, to be announced later in the summer.
